Angie Harmon is an American model and actress, she has been featured in a variety of TV and film series through the years. She began her career as model for fashion. But, once she became famous internationally she started acting. Her acting debut came through the 1995 TV show, 'Baywatch Nights. She also does voice-acting and voice-overs. The beginning of 2000 was when Harmon made the decision to concentrate film and stopped doing TV shows. She returned to acting in TV shows came after she appeared in only a few movies. She was one of the only actresses to discreetly appear naked in the the magazine "Allure" in the year 2008. She is best known for her character in the role of detective Jane Rizzoli in the TNT series 'Rizzoli & Isles.' The role of a police detective was highly appreciated and she won several awards. Her work as a detective has garnered numerous nominations throughout the years. Additionally, she was awarded some prizes.
